Wendy Nyawade
Registered Clinical Counsellor, MA
(she/her)
Hi, I’m Wendy—a Kenyan-Canadian integrative counsellor passionate about holding space for meaningful exploration and growth. My approach is grounded in warmth, cultural sensitivity, and the belief that we each carry the capacity for healing within us. I work from a humanistic and collaborative foundation, tailoring our sessions to your needs, identity, and pace.
Having grown up across Kenya, Uganda, the United States, South Africa, and Canada, I’ve had the privilege of being immersed in a variety of cultural spaces. These experiences have shaped how I understand identity, belonging, and the diverse ways we navigate the world.
I now live and practice in Switzerland, where I continue to support individuals from all walks of life in reconnecting with their inner wisdom and embracing what makes them unique—while also recognizing the shared threads of human experience.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Webster University in Geneva. I’m especially attuned to themes of identity formation, transition, relational dynamics, and intercultural experiences.
I look forward to welcoming you into my space in Zug, and it would be an honour to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
We already carry the wisdom we need—therapy helps us reconnect with it.
